Happy Holidays!
My earnest greetings to all of you! Have you felt the traditional inexplicable warmth that Christmas always brings to us? Filipinos usually have this long season for Christmas; starting 9 days before and well beyond Christmas day, I think. Haha! As Christmas day started to approach, I didn’t feel much of the spirit I usually feel during the past Christmas seasons. Thanks to the little boys and gals who caroled night in night out, I slowly felt that indeed, Christmas is fast approaching. On the eve of Christmas, we watched movies up until midnight. The clock ticked at 12 o’clock and there it is, His birthday! The day itself was again filled with activities, but not as many as what we used to have. Once again relatives came by and so as the “non-relatives” who posed for Christmas gifts. My ina-anak’s came and my wallet is not that stuffed. Oh great! I managed to hand them out some cash though. The day went by so hastily and soon, I found myself lying on my bed, getting ready to kiss the wonderful day goodbye. I guess that would be all for Christmas… New year’s coming! Let’s just enjoy the remaining days of our vacation.
